The Dub Plug is a Miami-based dubplate cutting studio built for DJs who want their music on wax

 

We cut quality dubplates for DJs looking to play exclusives, unreleased tracks, or digital-only tracks that are needed on vinyl. Whether it’s one copy or a small run, every record gets the same level of attention.

 

The Dub Plug was started by Izzy, a DJ who’s been at it since the 2nd grade.

 

From the very beginning, DJing and collecting records went hand in hand. That early connection to vinyl is what shaped everything, not just playing music, but appreciating the physical format.

 

After graduating from SAE Institute in 2020 as an audio engineer, the technical side caught up with the passion. The idea of cutting his own records had always been there, and in February of 2025, the opportunity finally came to purchase a lathe. After noticing that not a single person in the states was cutting records for DJs i decided to go full throttle and go for it.  For months I was locked in my room just cutting and throwing out dubplates until I was able to get the cuts sounding exactly like I needed them to sound, Heavy, Clean & Precise

 

Since then, it’s been a constant process of dialing things in and mastering the craft, with one goal in mind, cutting dubplates that actually sound like pressings when DJs put them on.

 

Every cut is done with real DJ use in mind, played loud, on real systems. The goal is simple: clean, strong & loud cuts that hold up in a club environment 

 

Dubplates shouldn’t feel out of reach.

 

Pricing is set with DJs in mind, if it’s not something I’d personally pay for, it doesn’t make sense to charge it. The goal is to keep things accessible so more people can actually get their music cut
